I caught only the alst half-hour of the match; feeling awful having missed Ponting and Gibbs' innings!!!
Unbelievable stuff! I thought only the Aussies were crazy , now even SA decides to join their bandwagon!Minalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08556930930046840091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13107507.post-1142158561226025342006-03-12T13:16:00.000+03:002006-03-12T13:16:00.000+03:00Is there any greater sight in Test cricket than an...Is there any greater sight in Test cricket than an English batting collapse?

Who remembers when they were in WI, needing 46 (or so) to win on the last day, and Ambrose and co. bowled them out.

Gotta love it.rhinoceroshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08959173195153706695noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13107507.post-1141981858417970522006-03-10T12:10:00.000+03:002006-03-10T12:10:00.000+03:00@Truman:Aha you hit bullseye! Pak lacked a spinner who could make Yuvi dance and then we would have had some fun;-)Minalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08556930930046840091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13107507.post-1141976760700376422006-03-10T10:46:00.000+03:002006-03-10T10:46:00.000+03:00I dare say, Yuvraj still does not give me that sen...I dare say, Yuvraj still does not give me that sense of dependability that Dravid or Sachin gives. I am still skeptical about Yuvraj's batting, especially against the slow/Spin bowlers. Keep in mind, he played well against a Pakistan which lacked a quality spin attack

A nice post, as always! :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13107507.post-1141964402499762082006-03-10T07:20:00.000+03:002006-03-10T07:20:00.000+03:00@Venkky: I'm waiting for the day Kaif becomes a re...@Venkky: I'm waiting for the day Kaif becomes a regular! Agreed Yuvraj is flamboyance personified but we need to groom someone to step into Dravid's shoes. It's too huge a vaccum that would be left when he calls it quits and I'll put my money on Kaif to do that job well in the future!

@Tarun:I don't think we pull defeat from jaws of victory anymore. The thing that is lacking in test matches is patience and the will to fight it out!
Let's wait and watch, I somehow have a feeling Mumbai ain't going to be easy for the Poms!Minalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08556930930046840091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13107507.post-1141917870968838572006-03-09T18:24:00.000+03:002006-03-09T18:24:00.000+03:00I am wondering will v see the great English battin...I am wondering will v see the great English batting collapse.
I think over expectation, looking at records rather than current form is the bane of an Indian cricket buff.
Indian cricket team is the one which can make a one sided match a very exciting one.Tarunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01497729257239840682noreply@blogger.com
